Visiting Hitis and getting know about the situation of the Hitis is important for the works of La: Tiki - Water Heritage Initiative.
The team visited Jala area (Harasiddhi) in Lalitpur to learn about the Hitis there in the area. We are very grateful for the local community members who very enthusiastically explained us and showed us various water related heritage.
We came to know about many restoration they have conducted. It is learned that awareness about the heritage can save our water heritage as well.
